During the 1790s, the sales of Windsor chairs in America exceeded the sales of all other chair designs combined. Rhode Island craftsmen specialized in creating continuous-bow armchairs, many of which survive today in the mansions of Providence
and Newport.
Handbuilt from a combination of Poplar, Oak and Maple.
