Bed Strength |
Strength and stability define Tom Seely beds. Unlike most manufacturers, they still mortise and tenon their side rails and then bolt them into their headboards & footboards. In this technique, the boards are joined with
a handcrafted projection, called a tenon, that is inserted into a carved socket, called a mortise. If the bed frame ever loosens, simply re-tighten the bolts. |
