I’ve recently been enjoying in-season watermelons and my wife says I’ve even gotten a little obsessed with trying to pick out a good watermelon. I realized the other week that watermelons and sofas have a lot in common. Really? Yes, really. One main similarity is that you can’t see what’s on the inside of either item. That’s why many times you’ll see a fruit stand on the side of the road will have a watermelon cut in half so that you can see what’s on the INSIDE. No one wants to slice into a watermelon that’s not good.

It’s really not much different with sofas. Sure, a sofa might look great on the outside but once you slice it open, how does the inside look?
