Warranty
Gat Creek warrants, to the original purchaser, its furniture to be free of defects in workmanship, material, and construction for 15 years from the date of purchase. This warranty applies only under normal household use and does not cover damages resulting from unauthorized repairs, exposure to extremes in temperature or humidity, abuse, misuse, negligence, or commercial use.

If a defect is found, Gat Creek will repair or replace under this warranty at the manufacturer's option. This option makes this a limited warranty. All warranty claims must be presented through an authorized Gat Creek retailer.

Simple Care for Cherry
Dust regularly with a soft, non-abrasive cloth, always following the grain of the wood. Should your furniture actually need cleaning, use a mild soap and a slightly damp sponge, then quickly wipe dry. You will not need to wax or oil Gat Creek furniture. Please do not polish more than once a month and avoid silicone-based polishes and all commercial cleaners.

Cherry will darken as it ages. Exposure to direct sunlight accelerates this process. To prevent light and dark patterns from developing in the first years of ownership, please keep your furniture away from windows and make sure to rotate or periodically move items placed on their tops.

Wood tends to "breathe" with changes in moisture and humidity. Extreme exposure to heat can dry out furniture and cause it to crack. Prolonged contact with warm or dramatic increases in humidity can cause furniture to swell, warp, and split. Always use a coaster or other protective pad when placing hot dishes or cold beverages on your furniture.
