 Gat Creek works with the highest grade of solid black cherry and embrace the variations with which nature has blessed it. We offer all of our Gat Creek furniture with the choice of three different finishes—Natural, Honey, and Espresso (top to bottom).
Gat Creek shuns the use of veneering, assembly lines and automated finishing that often leads to uniform and lifeless cherry furniture. They finish their furniture in a true hands-on process developed to highlight, not cover, the look and feel of cherry. Please be mindful that small dark patterns and slight changes in color are naturally occurring properties of cherry and how it grows in the forest. In no way do such natural properties of the wood lessen the quality of furniture made from it. These differences in patterns of wood grain enhance the individuality, value and beauty of furniture that bears the Gat Creek name. |
