How is it finished? |

Gat Creek believes in starting with the best possible wood and then applying a finish that highlights that wood's natural beauty. The finishers start by handrubbing a pigmented-rich oil stain over every inch of the furniture
in a board-by-board process that highlights cherry's subtle graining, instead of simply "painting over" it. The work concludes with the application of a low-sheen, cotton-based lacquer that protects wood without a glassy cover or the requirement
of periodic re-oiling. |
